The CFO has been absconding from his home in downtown Malkajgiri for the last two days. He is said to have attempted suicide in the house of some relative in Ameerpet area, sources said. Confirmation from the police about the incident is still awaited. Mynampati said:  “We assure our customers that we will meet our targets. We will protect all our employees". He further added,"We will take care of the salaries for December. We want them to believe that the company is not going to sink and complete transparency will be there from now onward”. 15,000 of the employees have already uploaded their resumes. This conference was to build up their confidence in the company.  In his message to Satyam employees, Mynampati  said that he would ensure complete transparency from now onwards and help the business run smoothly. According to Satyam, the new CEO is not related to the promoters of the company. Satyam thanked everyone for the support they have given the company during the crisis. “I am shocked by the disclosure”, said Mynampati. “I have no relation with the promoters of the Satyam family”, he added. Mynampati said:  “Even though we don’t have shares in the company, we are emotionally attached with the company”. He said that the liquidity situation at Satyam was pretty bad. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) team is in the Satyam office and they are investigating a few associates. They will be raising funds through fixed assets and other sources. He is confident that the new initiatives they have taken will yield results.“We have healthy receivable position”, Mynampati said. Satyam is now co-operating with the SEBI team to the best of its abilities. Satyam said that it would let the law take its own course and will provide support.
