EAMCET 2009 Qualifying Marks

QUALIFYING MARKS FOR EAMCET 2009 update from www.apeamcet.org Here is an update on the minimum qualifying marks in this years EAMCET Exam - the information is taken from the following: http://www.apeamcet.org/qualifying_mark.html 1. The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% i.e. 40 out of a total 160. However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed. But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories (Vide G.O.Ms. No. 179, LEN&TE, dated 16.06.1986). 2. Further, as per G.O Ms No. 181 dated 21.05.2008 of health medical and family welfare(E1) department for admission into MBBS/BDS courses on the basis of EAMCET entrance examination, a candidate for admission to those courses must have obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET examination. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC must have obtained not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET examination.
